REALIZATION

The sound of the alarm clock send a wave of annoying emotions through her body as she tried to wake herself up. “What? It’s already morning? Didn’t I just go to sleep? “. The warm rays of the morning sun slowly started creeping in through the neatly pleated curtains as she tried to pull the thick blanket over her head in an effort to fall back into sleep. Her request to get thicker curtains that would keep these sun rays away, have been falling on deaf ears for quite some time. Even on days off this has been preventing her from sleeping in. “Goodness! Also, isn’t today Sunday?” After the Morning Prayer, she has to go early for Sunday school as well. She has been complaining that there was no point in her going to Sunday school as she is already sixteen but no one seems to take her seriously. One of the two days she gets to sleep in a little longer without the pressure of school and homework is lost because of this Sunday school!
About two years ago a preacher had come to her church and talked about the fate of those who are not saved. His preaching scared her to death and she decided to get saved. Soon after, everyone started saying that all those who are saved needs to follow the commandment and get baptized. Without giving it much thought she decided to take baptism just to shut everyone up. And another time there was a tarry meeting in church. When people around her started jumping and dancing and speaking in tongues, she also made sure she moved with them as she didn’t want to stand out as a sore thumb. Anyways her parents were very happy that day, she heard them giving testimony that God filled their child also with His power. She has always known her mom to be giving too much importance to this religious stuff. You cannot bring up anything to mom without her saying “Daughter, you pray! God will take care of it. God will never forsake the prayers of a sincere heart” etc., etc. Doesn’t God have any other job? Is He sitting there idly to solve my problems? She has wondered many times! Why did God even let her be born to Christian parents? This must be the only religion where there are more don’ts than do’s. “We are separated people, we are accountable for all our actions because our body is the temple of a living God, God is holy so we should also be holy”, thus goes those rules. Whatever it is, she has reached her wits end. As soon as she turned eighteen she would get admission in a college far away from her house, she had promised herself.
‘’Knock, knock, knock”….Someone is banging on the front door! Isn’t today Sunday? What happened to mom’s Morning Prayer? “Knock, knock, knock”…this time it was more forceful. Murmuring to herself she got up and walked towards the front door. Through the half open blinds she suddenly saw the silhouettes of uniformed men. “Daddy! Mommy”, she screamed at the top of her voice and started running towards their bedroom. She panicked as their room was empty and started running from room to room looking for them and calling out for them. There was no sign of her parents or her younger brother. Before she could figure out what was going on, the uniformed men forced themselves into the house, handcuffed her and started dragging her outside. “Please don’t hurt me, please let me go, I want to see my parents” She cried at the top of her voice. The uniformed men laughed and scorned at her. She kept kicking and screaming as she frantically tried to figure out what was happening. Suddenly one of the men asked her “So you have no clue about what has happened? Last night thousands of people vanished from the face of this earth. Due to that event many houses have children who are alone. We have orders from our master to go from house to house and gather all the children that are orphaned to enslave them to do his work. We also have to get a census of all the remnants by sealing them with the number” Six, Six, Six”. A thought like the lightning bolt went through her mind. Oh, No! It has happened! The Second coming of Jesus, which her mom used to talk about all the time, has actually happened! Jesus took her Dad, mom and brother with Him and she is left behind. She could fool everyone around her with her fake salvation and baptism, but God who sees everything as is couldn’t be fooled. Don’t I have any other way out? She tried to probe her memory. Suddenly she remembered one more thing her mother used to say, if anyone can prevent themselves from getting the seal of six, six, six will be killed by the Antichrist but will be accepted as martyrs in the kingdom of God. She decided to give it a try and screamed with all her might “even if you kill me I will not take the seal, I will not take the seal”.
Suddenly the alarm clock screeched louder than ever. She jumped right up from sleep with disbelief yet with a great pacification. Thank goodness, it was all a dream! She dropped herself to her knees and cried. “Lord Jesus I am a sinner. I truly believe that you died for my sins. Please come into my heart as I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Please make me your daughter and live in my heart forever. Cleanse me from all my sins and prepare me for your second coming”. Soon she got up and ran to the prayer room and rolled out the rug. She started singing the familiar song her mom sings every day for the Morning Prayer with effort and conviction. Her parents, who were fast asleep, got up and started walking towards the prayer room trying to figure out what has happened to their daughter.
Dear readers this is an imaginative story that could happen at the second coming of Jesus. Let’s examine ourselves and make sure we are renewing our salvation every day and encourage our children to do the same. Don’t be left behind!
“THE CREATIVE CREATOR”
THROUGH THE EYES OF GOD

I stepped out of darkness,
And saw everything was heartless,
Once more I glanced at everything,
But there was no living thing.
First I thought of light, Then it came to be,
The light bursted out and it was bright,
Darkness unwinded on the opposite side,
Now I said : “ That’s Good ! “
So I continued….
Now I looked up in the sky,
And tugged the sky away from the seas,
Now I could feel the cool breeze.
The grass started to peek out,
The flowers started to sprout,
The Palm trees spread out its wings,
The Oak trees were doing their things.
I squished my hands together and the lighting boomed,
I clapped my hands and the thunder roared,
I pushed away the oceans , with some motions,
And it formed land I needed it firsthand.
I grabbed some light,
And rolled it up in a ball,
I named it Sun and raised it to the Heavens,
So he will be the ruler of the day.
I took some more light,
And rolled it in a ball,
I scraped it against the darkness,
That ball of darkness and starkness became the Moon,
I raised the Moon, so she will be the ruler of the night.
I splattered some light in the sky,
And that became the stars for you,
Across the night they got sprinkled,
And now they twinkle!
I looked back in the sky and said : That’s good!
So I continued…..
Then I thought of animals,
Animals of all sort,
From ants to whales,
And even slimy snails,
They had to travel far over oceans, under clouds, and besides mountains,
Now I said : That’s good!
I walked around and looked at everything that I made,
But felt like something was missing,
I needed a man!
So I scooped up a ball of sand with a glad hand,
And molded it into a shape of my own image,
I breathed into my sand sculpture,
And then man became a living soul.
I brought him to the garden of Eden and I named him Adam!
Adam walked with me in the cool of the day and yet he was lonely,
He couldn’t see me,
Or touch me,
He could feel me only.
It is not good for man to be alone.
So I made a madam for Adam by taking a rib from him!
I made a woman,
Adam named her Eve so she would be the mother of all living.
